Josh Carter will continue his professional career in Israel. Maccabi Ashdod has officially announced the signing of the 21-year-old American guard, who started his professional career last season in EWE Baskets Oldenburg. In the 2009-10 BBL, Carter averaged 7.7 points and 2.0 rebounds per game for the German team.

Lior Hakmon landed in Hapoel Jerusalem from Barak Netanya weeks ago, but the Israeli team wants to part ways with the 24-year-old forward due to the economic situation of Hapoel after singing Will Solomon. Maccabi Ashdod could be already interested in Hakmon, who averaged 5.3 points and 3.1 rebounds per game in the last Israeli Premier League.
