Lagun Aro GBC signs Jimmy Baron to a one-year contract

According to the head coach of Lagun Aro GBC, Pablo Laso, the Spanish team is looking for an American shooting guard for the next season, and the main target could be Jimmy Baron. The 24-year-old player started his professional career last season in Mersin Buyuksehir, where he averaged 16.4 points and 2.5 rebounds per game in the TBL.

Mersin Buyuksehir and Dionte Christmas reach to an agreement

Dionte Christmas will continue his career in Turkey. The 23-year-old American guard has reached to an agreement to play next season for Mersin Buyuksehir. Christmas played during his first year as a professional in Israel, after failing to get a NBA contract, averaging 19.5 points and 2.9 assists per game for Hapoel Afula.

Mersin Buyuksehir signs Aubrey Reese

Aubrey Reese is back to Turkey. The 32-year-old American guard was signed by Mersin Buyuksehir for the next season. Reese, who has played in the TBL for several teams, arrives to Mersin from the Deutsche Bank Skyliners, where he averaged 12.7 points and 3.8 assists per game in the last BBL.

Besiktas, targeting Charles Smith and Preston Shumpert

Besiktas Cola Turka is interested in two players recently released by Efes Pilsen: Charles Smith and Preston Shumpert, through legal problems with their former team could delay the transfer operation. Other players on the radar of Besiktas are Nerim Yücel, from Mersin Buyuksehir, and Ismail Çevik, from Aliaga Petkim (former player of Besiktas from 2001 to 2003).

Erdemirspor signs Altan Erol

Inanc Koc and Onur Aydin are the new two signings for Tofas Bursa. Both players arrive from Mersin Buyuksehir. Koc averaged 9.7 points and 5.4 rebounds per games in the last TBL, while Aydin posted 2.0 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. The new target for Tofas is to sign a foreign player.

Mersin Buyuksehir signs Valentin Pastal

Mersin Buyuksehir has landed Valentin Pastal for the next season. The 26-year-old forward, a former player of Efes Pilsen and Galatasaray, arrives from Pinar Karsiyaka, where ha has played during the last three seasons. Mete Baboglu appointed as the new Mersin Buyuksehir coach

Veteran coach Mete Babaoglu is the new Mersin Buyuksehir coach. Babaoglu was hired by the Turkish team after Ahmet Kandemir's resignation. Babaoglu has a huge experience in Turkish league, training since 1982 teams like Tofas, Oyak Renault, Karsiyaka and Banvit.
