Lokomotiv Kuban signs Sergei Toporov

After being released days ago by Khimki, Sergei Toporov has found a new team. The 29-year-old forward was signed by Lokomotiv Kuban, as the Russian team has officially announced. Toporov arrives to his new team after one year in Khimki, averaging 2.4 points and 1.3 rebounds per game in the last Russian Super League.

Khimki signs Sergey Monya, and releases Sergei Toporov and Petr Gubanov

As expected, Sergey Monya was signed to a two-year contract by Khimki, after four seasons in Dynamo Moscow. The 27-year-old forward averaged 13.8 points and 7.9 rebounds per game in the last Russian Super League. Khimki won't also extend the contracts of Sergei Toporov and Petr Gubanov. On the other hand, the Russian team could be eyeing Romain Sato, from Montepaschi Siena, for the next season.
