Murat Didin, new head coach of the Düsseldorf Giants

The Düsseldorf Giants has reached to an two-year (with two other optional years) agreement with Mirat Didin, who will be the head coach of the German team. The 55-year-old Turkish coach, who has been in charge of the Deutsche Bank Skyliners since 2007 until last April, will replace Hansi Gnad, the coach of the team since March.

Düsseldorf Giants fire Achim Kuczmann, and promote Hansi Gnad as head coach

Düsseldorf Giants have announced that Achim Kuczmann is no longer head coach of the German team. Giants are currently in the 15th place of the BBL after losing nine of the last ten games. The new coach for the rest of the season will be former player Hansi Gnad, who was a Kuczmann assistant until now.
