For the second time, hours before the NCAA Finals between Duke and Baylor, the coach of the Blue Devils, Mike Krzyzewski, had to slam any kind of rumor about him coaching the New Jersey Nets next summer. The last report said that the new owner of the Nets, Mikhail Prokhorov, was willing to offer between $12 and $15 millions to Krzyzewski to take the reigns of the NBA franchise from next season.

New Jersey Nets is preparing a huge offer for current Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski to take the reigns of the team as the head coach and the General Manager, according to league sources. The Nets could offer Krzyzewski, who slammed the earlier rumors about the interest of the NBA franchise on him, between $12 and $15 million per season. "Coach K"'s Duke will play tonight the final game of the NCAA championship against Butler.

Mike Krzyzewski, head coach of Duke and United States NT, denied with a great sense of humor the rumors about New Jersey Nets interest to hire him the next season. "Coach K" said there's no way a Russian guy (Mikhail Prokorov, future owner of Nets) would hire a Polish guy like him. And that if they contact him, the answer will be "nyet". Rick Pitino also slammed the rumors about his interest for coaching Nets.
