Aleksandr Riabchuk will play next season for BC Kyiv. The Ukrainian team has announced that the 21-year-old guard wa signed to a one-year contract. Riabchuck arrives to his new team after playing during the last two seasons for BC Khimik, averaging 2.6 points and 1.4 assists per game in the 2009-10 Super League.

BC Khimik has announced two new players for the next season. The Ukrainian team has officially announced the signing of Lance Allred and Toni Bizaca. Allred, a 29-year-old American forward, known as the first legally player in the NBA history, arrives from the D-League, where he averaged 13.0 points and 9.0 rebounds last season. The other new acquisition of Khimik, Bizaca, arrives from the Croatian A1 league. The 27-year-old Croatian forward averaged 21.0 points and 6.3 rebounds per game for Trogir ZP.

Curtis Millage will continue his career in Ukraine. BC Khimik has signed the 29-year-old American guard. Millage played last season in Union Olimpija with a temporary contract, and finished it in France after being signed by Hyères-Toulon on March, averaging 12.1 points and 5.2 assists per game in the French LNB.

Luka Drezga will continue his career in Ukraine. The 23-year-old Croatian guard was signed by Khimik to a one-year contract. Drezga, former player of Sibenik and Zagreb, averaged in the last Croatian A1 league 16.1 points and 3.8 rebounds per game for Trogir ZP.

Politekhnika Halychyna continues being one of the mots active teams of the Ukrainian market. The team based in Lvov has signed Dmytro Khodov, who played last season for Khimik. The 23-year-old forward averaged 4.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 11.7 minutes per game in the last Ukrainian Super League.

The 25-year-old Ukrainian guard arrives from Khimik, where he averaged 12.3 points and 6.9 rebounds per games last season. Budivelnik also brought back Dmytro Zabirchenko, who played last season in BC Kyiv on loan.

Andriy Agafanov won't return to Khimik next season, as the president of the Ukrainian club, Serhiy Nazarenko, has confirmed. The 25-year-old Ukrainian forward, who averaged 12.3 rebounds and 6.9 rebounds per game, could have reached to an agreement with BC Budivelnik.

As expected, Zoran Kalpich is the new head coach of Khimik. The Ukrainian team has announced the signing of the Croatian coach for the next season, who will replace Valentin Voronin. This won't be the first experience of Kalpich in Ukraine, after working as an assistant for BC Donetsk last season.

Darrel Mitchell and Khimik have agreed to terminate the contract of the American guard. The 25-year-old player was averaging 18.3 points and 5.4 assists for the Ukrainian team. His new destination will be Base Oostende, in Belgium, where he will replace the injured guard Trevor Huffman.

The brief stint in Ukraine of guard Brian Wethers and center Larry Abney, both signed last month by Khimik, is over. The two American players have agreed with the Ukrainian team to terminate their contracts. Wethers just played 13 minutes per game for Khimik (averaging 3 points), while Abney averaged 24 minutes and 9 points for his already former team.

Ukrainian team have found quickly a replacement to LaVell Blanchard, released recently. Center Larry Abney, who has just finished the Mexican season with Halcones Rojos de Veracruz, is the new player for Khimik. On the other hand, Blanchard also found a new team, and will play in Bosnia for BC Igokea.

Blanchard was averaging 11.6 points and 5 rebounds in 19 games with Khimik in Ukrainian Super League. This is the second player who left the team this week after Ivan Koljevic.

American guard Brian Wethers is the new player for BC Odessa, and has already debuted with the Ukrainian team against BC Odessa. 29-year-old player, an Australian league MVP in 2005, started the season in Uruguay, for Melvin, and played last season in Ukrainian Super league team Budivelnik.

Ukrainian team have signed American player Russell Carter, who has played this season in the D-League for Austin Toros and Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Azovmash Mariupol, which can't sign foreigner players due to a ban of FIBA, will complete his roster with center Maxim Ivshyn, former player of Azovmash reserve team, Budivelnyk and Poltava. Ivshyn started the season with BC Donetsk, before being released due to the team bankrupt.
