Chicago Bulls, to re-sign Chris Richard and waive Linsdey Hunter

As expected, Chicago Bulls is about to re-sign forward Chris Richard, who was back to Tulsa 66ers after being waived by the NBA franchise, and will wave the most veteran player in the NBA, guard Lindsey Hunter, close to retirement. Bulls were reported to need another big man in their rotation.

Chicago Bulls could re-acquire Chris Richard

Chicago Bulls are thinking about re-acquiring forward Chris Richard to strengthen their frontcourt. Richard, now back to Tulsa 66ers, was waived after the last trades, but coach Vinny Del Negro wants him back. Bulls could also waive a player to make room for Richard. Lindsey Hunter (close to retirement) and Jerome James are likely to leave the team.

Lindsey Hunter, the oldest player in the NBA, will retire at the end of the season

39-year-old Lindsey Hunter, the oldest player in the NBA, will retire at the end of the season. Hunter, currenty playing for Chicago Bulls, was elected in 10th posicion in 1993 draft, and won two NBA titles with Lakers (2002) and Pistons (2004), and it's now averaging 1.0 points in 13 games played so far.
