Blake Ahearn is back to Europe. Banca Tercas Teramo has signed the 26-year-old American guard, who started last season in Spain with Asefa Estudiantes. After leaving the club last December, Ahearn played in the D-League with the Bakersfield Jam, and then traded to the Erie BayHawks, where he averaged 26.2 points and 6.0 assists per game.

Mike Sweetney will continue his career in Puerto Rico. After playing the last weeks for the Erie BayHawks in the D-League, averaging 13.2 points and 6.9 rebounds, the former Knicks and Bulls player was signed by Puerto Rican team Cangrejeros de Santurce. The 27-year-old forward will replace Marquise Gainous.

The Washington Wizards have signed another player to a 10-day contract, after the announcement of an agreement with Cartier Martin. The NBA franchise have called up guard Cedric Jackson, who was playing for the D-League team Erie BayHawks after two brief stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the San Antonio Spurs.

The Miami Heat will call up forward Alade Aminu, according to sources. Aminu, older brother of prospect Al-Farouq Aminu, is currently playing in the D-League for the Erie BayHawks, and is averaging 19.3 points and 9.2 rebounds per game in 33 minutes. Aminu signed for the Heat last preseason, but was waived without even playing a single minute.

The second stint this season of Darnell Jackson in the D-League lasts exactly the same as the first one: one game. The forward was recalled by Cleveland Cavaliers after posting 32 points and 11 rebounds in Erie BayHawks game against Dakota Wizards. Despite of this good game, Jackson will likely be waived by the Cavs to make room for Zydrunas Ilgauskas, who will rejoin the team probably on Monday.

Cleveland Cavaliers have re-assigned forward Darnell Jackson to the D-League affiliated, Erie BayHawks. Jackson was already assigned weeks ago to the BayHawks, but was recalled after playing just one game in the D-League, posting 34 points and 12 rebounds against Dakota Wizards.

Sweetney played briefly for Chinese team Shanxi Zhongyu after failing to get a spot in Boston Celtics roster last preseason, especially due to his overweight. Former 8th pick in 2003 played four years in the NBA between New York and Chicago.

Bakersfield Jam and Erie BayHawks have agreed to a trade involving guard Blake Ahearn and forward Alade Aminu. Ahearn, who arrived weeks ago to the Jam after starting the season with Spanish team Estudiantes, will play for the BayHawks, while Aminu will go to Bakersfield.
