Sasha Djordjevic, main candidate to replace Dusan Ivkovic in the Serbian national team

Dusan Ivkovic will leave the Serbian national team after the next World Championship, in Turkey. The Serbian federation is considering a list of candidates, and Sasha Djordjevic could be the first target to take over the team. Other names on the short list could be Zeljko Obradovic (Panathinaikos), Bozidar Maljkovic (now without a team), Svetislav Pesic (also without a team), Aco Petrovic (recently hired by Zalgiris) and Miroslav Nikolic (Radnicki)

Jasmin Repesa, Svetislav Pesic and Velimir Perasovic, candidates to coach Efes Pilsen

After Erman Kunter decided to turn down the offer from Efes Pilsen to coach the Turkish team, a new list of three candidates has emerged. Jasmin Repesa (last season in Benetton Treviso), Svetislav Pesic (without a team since coaching Red Star in the 2008-09 season) and Velimir Perasovic (last two seasons in Cibona) are the three names considered to replace Ergin Ataman in Efes Pilsen.

Erman Kunter turns down the offer from Efes Pilsen

Erman Kunter has rejected the one-year offer from Efes Pilsen to take over the Turkish team. Kunter could finally decide to stay three more years in his current team, Cholet Basket. Efes Pilsen is already looking for another coach, and could have Svetislav Pesic in the top of the candidates list to replace Ergin Ataman.

Svetislav Pesic, another candidate to coach Olympiakos

Olympiakos is still looking for a replacement for Panagiotis Giannakis, still not officially released. The list of candidates has another name. The veteran 60-year-old Serbian coach Svetislav Pesic, without a team since leaving Red Star in 2009, could be another option for Olympiakos. Pesic won an Euroleague in 2003 as a head coach with Regal Barcelona.

Svetislav Pesic won't coach the Bosnian National Team, and recommends Emir Mutapcic for the job

Svetislav Pesic, one of the candidates to lead the Bosnian National team after the firing of Mensur Bajramovic, has stepped down of the race for the job. Pesic said he wants to coach a club instead of a club, and recommended Emir Mutapcic for the job. The other candidates, according to the Bosnian Federation, are Bozidar Maljkovic and Jasmin Repesa.

Pesic, Maljkovic and Repesa, among the candidates to coach Bosnian NT

After being unable to qualify Bosnia-Herzegovina to the last two European championship, Mensur Bajramovic won't be the National Team coach in the next qualification stage this summer. Bosnian Federation is considering names like Svetislav Pesic, Bozidar Maljkovic and Jasmin Repesa (now coaching Benetton) to offer them the job. Other candidates are Aleksandar Petrovic and Emir Mutapcic.

DKV Joventut releases coach Sito Alonso

Spanish club DKV Joventut has announced that Sito Alonso is no longer the head coach of the team, after agreeing both parts to terminate his contract. Sito Alonso was the coach of Joventut since last season, after several years as an assistant. Joventut has lost the last 6 games in ACB league. Former Spanish NT coach Pepu Hernández, and Serbian coach Svetislav Pesic are in the list for being the new Joventut coach.
