Oren Aharoni, new head coach of Maccabi Ashdod

Maccabi Ashdod has a new coach for next season. The recently promoted Israeli club has hired Omer Aharoni to take the reign of the team. The 37-year-old coach arrives Ashdod after working as an assistant for Dan Shamir in Bnei Hasharon. His first experience as a head coach was in the 2007-08 season, after his retirement as a player, for Maccabi Givat Shmuel.
