Sydney Kings announced their first seven players: Luke Cooper, Julian Khazzouh, Taj McCullough...

The Sydney Kings are back to the NBL after a year and a half out due to financial difficulties, and have announced their first 7 signings. Ben Knight, Luke Martin and Graeme Dann, former Kings, will be back to the team, along with Bjagoj Janev, former player of the Singapore Slingers. The other players will be Luke Cooper (from the Alaska Anchorage college), Julian Khazzouh (recently in Ironi Ramat Gan, in Israel) and Taj McCullough (now playing in Latvia for the VEF Riga). The head coach will be Ian ‘Moose’ Robilliard.

Last movements in Latvia: Taj McCullough and Tim Crowell

Last game in the Baltic league between Latvian teams Valmiera and VEF Riga (70-84 for Riga) met two players in a different situation. For VEF Riga, Taj McCullough played with a guarantee contract for the rest of the season after a succesful try-out with current Latvian champions. For Valmiera, former Fort Lewis college player Tim Crowell debuted with the team, and will try to have same McCullough luck, and pass the try-out.

Taj McCullough leaves Ironi Ramat Gan, and will try-out with VEF Riga

Taj McCullough left Israel team Ironi Ramat-Gan due to the financial problems of the squad, and has joined VEF Riga for a two weeks try-out. Latvian team will have the chance of signing former D-League forward, who was averaging 13.2 points and 4.0 rebounds in the Israeli Super League
