Damir Mrsic retires

As expected, the career of Damir Mrsic is over. The 39-year-old Bosnian-Turkish guard has confirmed that he has decided to retire from professional baskeball after 22 years. Mrsic would like to continue in the organization of Fenerbahce, when he has played since 2004, averaging 5.2 points and 0.8 assists per game in the last TBL.

Damir Mrsic could decide to retire

Damir Mrsic could be close to call it a career. The veteran 39-year-old Bosnian-Turkish guard, who has played during the last six seasons for Fenerbahce, was undecided about playing for one more season, but would have finally decided to retire. Mrsic, who started his professional career in 1989, averaged 5.2 points and 0.8 assists per game during the last TBL.

Damir Mrsic, undecided about his retirement

Damir Mrsic, the older player in the Euroleague during the last seasons, doesn't know yet if he will continue playing basketball. The 39-year-old Bosnian guard, in Fenerbahce since 2004, could decide to retire after 22 seasons as a professional or to stay another season in the Turkish team.
