Partizan signs Nathan Jawai to a one-year contract

It's official. After two years in the NBA, Nathan Jawai will play next season in Serbia. Partizan has announced the signing of the 24-year-old Australian center to a one-year contract. Jawai arrives to his new team after averaging 3.2 points and 2.7 rebounds per game last season for the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Partizan and Nathan Jawai reach an agreement

As expected, Nathan Jawai will leave the NBA after two years to play next season in Europe. The 24-year-old Australian forward has reached an agreement with Parizan, according to the Serbian press. Jawai started his professional career in the Toronto Raptors, and played last season for the Minnesota Timberwolves, averaging 3.2 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.

Nathan Jawai, re-assigned to the D-League

The Australian forward Nathan Jawai is back to the D-League, after being re-assigned by the Minnesota Timberwolves to the affiliated team Sioux Falls Skyforce. The second year player appeared in two games with the Skyforce in February, averaging 6.0 points and 3.0 rebounds. In the NBA, Jawai has averaged 3.2 points and 2.7 rebounds in 10 minutes per game this season.

Nathan Jawai and Malik Hairston are recalled from the D-League

The brief stint of Nathan Jawai in the D-League is over. The Australian forward was recalled by his NBA team, Minnesota Timberwolves, from the assigned team Sioux Falls Skyforce. Jawai played two games for Skyforce averaging 6.0 points and 3.0 minutes.

Malik Hairston has spent more time in the NBA development league. The guard was assigned on January 14th, and appeared 15 games with Austin Toros, averaging 29.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists. Now, Hairston is back with San Antonio Spurs after being recalled by the NBA franchise.

Nathan Jawai, assigned to Sioux Falls Skyforce

Minnesota Timberwolves have decided to assign Australian forward Nathan Jawai to his affiliated franchise in the D-League, Sioux Falls Skyforce. Former Toronto Raptors player is averaging in his second year in the NBA 3.3 points and 2.7 rebounds in 10.8minutes per game.
