Cedevita has decided to part ways with Slobodan Subotic due to the bad relationship between the coach and the board of the club. The replacement of Subotic, who was in his first season in the Croatian club, will be Aleksandar Petrovic. The older brother of the late Drazen Petrovic was without a team since leaving Zadar in 2008.

Bozidar Maljkovic and Aleksandar Petrovic are reported to be the two favorite coaches to lead the Bosnia National Team next summer. Maljkovic has talked about that rumor, and showed himself open to talk about taking the job. However, the still Bosnian NT coach, Mensur Bajramovic, still considers he has chances to keep the job.

After being unable to qualify Bosnia-Herzegovina to the last two European championship, Mensur Bajramovic won't be the National Team coach in the next qualification stage this summer. Bosnian Federation is considering names like Svetislav Pesic, Bozidar Maljkovic and Jasmin Repesa (now coaching Benetton) to offer them the job. Other candidates are Aleksandar Petrovic and Emir Mutapcic.
