Ivan Déniz, new head coach of the Halcones de Xalapa

Ivan Déniz is back to the Mexican league. The Spanish coach, who has been in charge of the LEB Oro team Tenerife Rural and, most recently, the Venezuelan team Trotamundos de Carabobo, was signed by the Halcones de Xalapa. This will be the second stint of Déniz in Mexico after coaching the Soles de Mexicali from 2007 to 2009.

The Trotamundos de Carabobo have signed Ivan Déniz as the new head coach, to replace Flor Meléndez, recently fired by the Venezuelan team. The Spanish coach was in charge of the LEB Oro team Tenerife Rural this season, which failed to qualify for the playoff and has already end the season.
