Unicaja slams rumors about Aíto García Reneses leaving

Unicaja have denied any intention of releasing coach Aíto García Reneses, and that there has been any meeting with him. Sources said that there were talks between club and coach to terminate the contract between both parts. One of the most important coaches in Spanish basketball history is still in Unicaja.

Unicaja, to release Aíto Garcia Reneses soon

Spanish team Unicaja and Aíto García Reneses are discussing the buy-out of the veteran coach contract. Last defeat against Bilbao Basket could the last one of the 63-year-old coach, who arrived to Málaga last season after leading the Spanish NT to the silver medal in the Olympic Games. Aíto's replacement could be Paco Aurioles, affiliated LEB Oro team Clinicas Rincon coach.
