Giorgios Kalafatakis resigns as Olympia Larisa head coach

A painful defeat against Kavala by 41 points was enough for Giorgios Kalafatakis. Olympia Larisa coach has resigned of his duties, after considering his team is the worst in the Greek league. Former PAOK Thessaloniki coach also offered his resignation weeks ago, but wasn't accepted by Larisa board.

Giorgios Kalafatakis offered his resignation as Olympia Larisa coach

After last defeat of Olympia Larisa against Peristeri, head coach Giorgios Kalafatakis offered his resignation, but the Greek's club board refused to take it, and showed him their support. Olympia Larissa is on 13th position in HEBA A1 Division with just 4 victories in 18 games.
