Dnipro inks Steve Burtt and Mario Austin

Dnipro Dnepropetrovsk has landed two new American players for the upcoming season. The Ukrainian team has officially announced the signing of Steve Burtt and Mario Austin. The 26-year-old guard will continue his career in Ukraine after finishing last season in Ferro-ZNTU, where Burtt was the top scorer of the domestic Super League averaging 22.4 points and 5.5 assists per game. On the other hand, the 28-year-old center will play for the next time in Ukraine for Dnipro. Austin started last season in Meridiano Alicante before being released on January, and then played briefly in Puerto Rico for the Atléticos de San Germán.

Atléticos de San Germán sign Ernest Brown to replace Mario Austin

Ernest Brown is the new player of the Atléticos de San Guzmán. The 31-year-old center, a former player of the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics, replaced Mario Austin, who arrived to Puerto Rico last month. Brown has played this season in Bulgaria (Lukoil Akademik), China (Beijing Ducks) and Venezuela (Toros de Aragua) before landing in the Puerto Rican BSN league.

Atléticos de San Germán sign Mario Austin

Atléticos de San Germán have found a replacement for Marcus Melvin, who is suffering a knee injury. The Puerto Rican team has signed Mario Austin, who was released from the Spanish team Meridiano Alicante on January. The 28-year-old center, who averaged 10.8 points and 4.1 rebounds wih Alicante, has also played in Russia, Italy, Turkey, Israel and China.

Mario Austin and Meridiano Alicante part ways
