Dusko Vujosevic has signed a three-year contract with CSKA Moscow

As expected, Dusko Vujosevic is the new head coach of CSKA Moscow for the next three years. The 51-year-old Montenegrin coach, in charge of Partizan since 2001, leaves the Serbian club to take over CSKA, where he will replace Evgeni Pashutin. His replacement in Partizan could be his assistant, Vlada Jovanovic, though Sasha Djordjevic could be also a candidate for the bench of the Serbian team.

More rumors involving Sasha Djordjevic. The 43-year-old Serbian coach, one of the best European players in the last 20 years, could return to his first club. Partizan could be interested in hiring Djordjevic if the departure of Dusko Vujosevic to CSKA Moscow gets finally done. Djordjevic was recently reported to be also a candidate to replace Jasmin Repesa in Benetton Treviso.

Sasha Djordjevic, candidate to replace Jasmin Repesa in Benetton Treviso

The relationship between Benetton Treviso and Jasmin Repesa is not the best one after the interest of the Croatian coach to be hired by Efes Pilsen (which finally appointed Velimir Perasovic as the new head coach). The Italian team could be willing to offer a buy-out to Repesa and found a replacement, with Sasha Djordjevic (former Serbian player and head coach of Olimpia Milano between 2005 and 2007) as a potential candidate.
