Hapoel Jerusalem and Sean Williams reach an agreement

As expected, Sean Williams will play next season in Israel. The 23-year-old American forward, who played during two seasons and a half for the New Jersey Nets, has agreed to a deal with Hapoel Jerusalem, and is expected to sign the contract during the next days. The last team of Williams, after playing in China, was the Mets de Guaynabo, in Puerto Rico.

Hapoel Jerusalem, close to sign Sean Williams

Sean Williams could play in Israel next season. Hapoel Jerusalem and the 23-year-old American forward are close to reach an agreement for the next season, according to the Israeli press. The former NBA player would arrive to Hapoel after finishing last season in China and Puerto Rico. Williams was waived by the New Jersey Nets in January.

Hapoel Jerusalem, interested in Sean Williams

Hapoel Jerusalem could bring another former NBA players for the upcoming roster. Sean Williams is now the main target of the Israeli team. The 23-year-old American forward played last season in China, for Fujian, and in Puerto Rico, for the Mets de Guaynabo, after being waived on January by the New Jersey Nets, where he was playing since 2007.

Mets de Guaynabo signs former NBA player Sean Williams to replace injured Marcus Fizer

The Mets de Guaynabo have decided to replace Marcus Fizer, signed a couple of months ago. The veteran forward has a groin injury, and has been replaced by Sean Williams. The former Nets forward, who was playing for the Chinese team Fujian SBS XunXin, has been signed to a renewable weekly contract with the Puerto Rican team until the fully recovery of Marcus Fizer. Before the injury, Fizer was averaging 15.3 points and 6.8 rebounds in 8 games with the Mets.

Sean Williams signed by Chinese team Fujian

Chinese team Fujian SBS XunXin have signed American forward Sean Williams, who started the season with New Jersey Nets before being waived. 24-year-old player is a NBA 2007 first-round pick, but failed to leave a good impresion in the NBA, and will continue his career in CBA.
