New Jersey Nets sign Derrick Favors and Damion Jones

The New Jersey Nets have announced officially the signing of Derrick Favors and Damion Jones. Favors, the 3rd overall pick of the last NBA draft, arrives to the Nets after averaging 12.4 points and 8.4 rebounds per game in his freshman year with the University of Georgia Tech. Jones, selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the 24th overall pick, and then traded to the Nets, posted 18.0 points and 10.3 rebounds in his senior year with the University of Texas.

Atlanta Hawks send the rights of Damion Jones to New Jersey Nets

The Atlanta Hawks have agreed to send the rights of recently drafted Damion Jones to the New Jersey Nets in exchange of the 27th (Jordan Crawford, from Xavier) and 31st pick (Tibor Pleiss, from the German team Brose Baskets Bamberg). Jones is a senior forward from the University of Texas who averaged 18.0 points and 10.3 rebounds per game last season.
