Olympiakos signs Rasho Nesterovic to a two-year contract

As expected, Olympiakos has officially announced the signing of Rasho Nesterovic to a two-year contract. The 34-year-old Slovenian center is back to Europe after playing since 1999 in the NBA. In the last season, Nesterovic averaged 3.9 points and 2.1 rebounds per game in his second stint with the Toronto Raptors.

Rasho Nesterovic, back to Europe to play for Olympiakos

Rasho Nesterovic is back to Europe. The 34-year-old Slovenian center, with Greek passport has reached to an agreement to play for Olympiakos next season. Nesterovic was playing in the NBA since 1999, averaging 3.9 points and 2.1 rebounds per game last season for the Toronto Raptors. This will be the second stint of Nesterovic in Greece, after playing from 1993 to 1995 for PAOK Thessaloniki.

Rasho Nesterovic doesn't rule out to go back to Union Olimpija

Rasho Nesterovic is currently a free agent, after his contract with the Toronto Raptors expired last season. The 34-year-old Slovenian center, who averaged 3.9 points and 2.1 rebounds per game, is considering to go back to Europe after 12 seasons in the NBA, and he even doesn't rule out to play again for Union Olimpija, despite the huge economic crisis of the Slovenian club. Nesterovic was a member of Olimpija between 1995 and 1997.

Rasho Nesterovic, considering to play in Europe next season

Rasho Nesterovic isn't happy with his last season in the Toronto Raptors, and is considering whether to stay in the NBA or the go back to Europe after 11 seasons in the United States. The 34-year-old Slovenian center will listen to offers from both sides to decide where to play next season.
