Giessen 46ers sign Anthony Smith

After starting his professional career in Spain last season, Anthony Smith moves to Germany. The Giessen 46ers have announced the signing of the 23-year-old American guard for the next season. Smith arrives to his new team after averaging 14.3 points and 3.6 rebounds per game in the last LEB Oro for CB Cornellà.

Giessen 46ers release Walker Russell

Just three weeks after being signed by the Giessen 46ers, Walker Russell was released by the German team. The 27-year-old American guard didn't pass the try-out with the 46ers and is now a free agent. Russell landed in Giessen after finishing last season in Puerto Rico with the Piratas de Quebradillas.

Giessen 46ers sign Walker Russell to a one-year contract

Walker Russell is back to Europe after his stint in Puerto Rico with the Piratas de Quebradillas. The Giessen 46ers have officially announced the signing to a one-year contract of the 27-year-old American guard. Russell also played last season in Bulgaria for Lukoil Akademik, averaging 13.7 points and 5.5 assists per game in the national league.

Giessen 46ers sign Zachery Peacock to a one-year contract

The Giessen 46ers have officially announced the signing of Zachery Peacock to a one-year contract. The 22-year-old American forward will start his professional career in the German team, after playing during the last four seasons for the University of Georgia Tech. In his senior year, Peacock averaged 8.6 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.

Ludwigsburg signs Johnanes Lischka

Johannes Lischka is the first signing of EnBW Ludwigsburg for the next season. The 23-year-old forward arrives to the German team after playing during the last three seasons in Giessen 46ers, averaging 5.4 points and 3.5 rebounds in 15.1 minutes per game in the last BBL, and was signed to a two-year contract by Ludwigsburg.

The Giessen 46ers have signed Dirk Mädrich to a one-year contract. The 26-year-old German center arrives to his new team after playing last season in the Greek A2 league with Olimpiada Patras just five games (averaging 8.8 points and 3.6 rebounds per game) before suffering a season-ending injury.

The Giessen 46ers have announced the first addition for the next season. Tim Schwarz, who played last season in the ProA for the Saar-Pfalz Braves, was signed to a one-year contract for the BBL team. The 22-year-old forward averaged 8.8 points and 4.7 rebounds per game for the Braves.

Giessen 49ers and David Teague part ways

The top scorer of the German league won't be back this season. American guard David Teague has agreed to terminate his contract with Giessen 46ers. 26-year-old player injured on a knee in January, and hasn't get into the court since then. Teague was averaging 20.4 points per game until his injury.

Giessen 46ers add Osvaldo Jeanty

Canadian guard Osvaldo Jeanty is the new player of German team Giessen 46ers. Jeanty started the season in Romania, playing for CS Gaz Metan Medias. After signing with 46ers, Giessen will be the second German team 26-year-old guard plays for, after Nordlingent Giants (2007-09).
