The 29-year-old Canadian guard arrives to his new team after playing last season for Caja Laboral, averaging 9.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per game in the ACB league. English landed in Spain in 2007 to play for CB Gran Canaria.

The arrival of a replacement could also make the Spanish team not to extend the contract of Stanko Barac. The future of the 23-year-old Croatian coach, who averaged 8.7 points and 4.5 rebounds per game last season, depends of the salary of that new center. Milt Palacio, Vladimir Golubovic and, probably, Carl English, will leave the team.
