As expected, Russell Robinson is the second signing announced today of DKV Joventut. The 24-year-old American guard will play next season for the Spanish team. Robinson arrives to the ACB league from the D-League, where he averaged 16.3 points and 5.6 assists per game last season for the Reno Bighorns.

Russell Robinson won't play next season for Chorale Roanne, despite the earlier reports about his arrival to the French team. According to Jean-Denys Choulet, coach of Chorale Roanne, the 24-year-old guard is close to be signed by DKV Joventut. Robinson finished last season in the Maine Red Claws, averaging 16.3 points and 5.6 assists per game in the D-League.

The Reno Bighorns have acquired guard Will Blalock from the Maine Red Claws in exchange for guard Russell Robinson. Blalock, a 6-1 guard out of Iowa State, averaged 8.5 points and 5.6 assists with the Red Claws this season. He played in 14 NBA games with the Detroit Pistons in the 2006-07 season. Robinson played with Reno in its inaugural season last year, and returned for a second stint in 2009-10. He leaves the Bighorns averaging 16.4 points and 3.7 assists per game
