Galatasaray inks Preston Shumpert

As expected, Preston Shumpert will play next season for Galatasaray. The Turkish team has officially announced the signing of the 30-year-old American forward, a free agent after being released by Efes Pilsen a couple of months ago, after two seasons in the team. In the 2009-10 TBL, Shumpert averaged 11.8 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.

Lottomatica Roma, in talks with Charles Smith

Lottomatica Roma is still interested in landing Charles Smith for the next season, and is already exploring the chances to sign him. The veteran 34-year-old American guard is a free agent after being released by Efes Pilsen, where he averaged 12.9 points and 3.1 rebounds per game in the last TBL. Vanoli Cremona and Besiktas were also interested in Smith.

KK Zagreb signs Mario Kasun to a one-year contract

As expected, Mario Kasun is back to Croatia. The 32-year-old center has signed a one-year contract, with an option to an extra year, with KK Zagreb. Kasun arrives to his new team after playing since 2008 for Efes Pilsen, averaging 8.2 points and 4.5 rebounds per game during the last TBL, and was a free agent after being released by the Turkish team weeks ago.

Milan Macvan has already attracted the interest of the two Turkish teams. Mike Batiste and Drew Nicholas will continue playing for Panathinaikos for, at least, two more years. Both American players agreed to a extension of their contract with the Greek team. Georgios Printezis doesn't want to leave Unicaja. Efes Pilsen, interested in Georgios Printezis

Efes Pilsen is tracking the market for alternatives in case Bostjan Nachbar decides to go back to the NBA. One of them is Georgios Printezis. Efes Pilsen could be close to sign Marcus Haislip to a two-year contract

According to the Greek press, Marcus Haislip is in advanced talks to become again a player of Efes Pilsen next season. The 29-year-old American forward is without a team since being released by Panathinaikos last April, after averaging 2.5 points and 1.0 rebounds per game in the Greek A1 league. Efes Pilsen and FMP Zeleznik have reached to an agreement for the transfer of Miroslav Raduljica to the Turkish team. The 22-year-old Serbian forward, who averaged 13.7 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in the last Adriatic League, already reached to an agreement with Efes Pilsen, but the Serbian team blocked his departure until now.
