After starting his professional career in Spain last season, Anthony Smith moves to Germany. The Giessen 46ers have announced the signing of the 23-year-old American guard for the next season. Smith arrives to his new team after averaging 14.3 points and 3.6 rebounds per game in the last LEB Oro for CB Cornellà.

Just three weeks after being signed by the Giessen 46ers, Walker Russell was released by the German team. The 27-year-old American guard didn't pass the try-out with the 46ers and is now a free agent. Russell landed in Giessen after finishing last season in Puerto Rico with the Piratas de Quebradillas.

Bryce Taylor will continue his career in Alba Berlin. The German team has officially announced the signing to a one-year contract (with an early termination option after two months) of the 23-year-old American guard. Taylor arrived last season to Germany to play for Telekom Bonn, where he averaged 12.5 points and 2.6 rebounds per game in the BBL.

Josh Carter will continue his professional career in Israel. Maccabi Ashdod has officially announced the signing of the 21-year-old American guard, who started his professional career last season in EWE Baskets Oldenburg. In the 2009-10 BBL, Carter averaged 7.7 points and 2.0 rebounds per game for the German team.

Eddie Ard is the new signing of the Düsseldorf Giants. The German team has landed the 25-year-old American guard, who is back to Europe after a brief two-game stint in Ukraine. Ard, who finished last season in the Franklin Knights, from the American minor league WBA, also appeared in two games with BC Hoverla last January.

Obi Muonelo will start his professional career. EWE Baskets Oldenburg has offically announced the signing to a one-year contract of the 20-year-old Nigerian guard. Muonelo arrives to his new team after playing during the last four seasons for the University of Oklahoma State, averaging 13.3 points and 5.0 rebounds per game during his senior year.

Ben Jacobson will become the new import signing of Ikaros Esperos. The recently promoted Greek team is close to land the 26-year-old American guard for the next season. Jacobson has played during the last three seasons for BG Göttingen, averaging 8.7 points and 3.2 assists per game in the 2009-10 BBL.

The new player of Phoenix Hagen arrives from the American Air Force. The German team has signed Jacob Burtschi to a four-week try-out, to evaluate his signing for the next season. The 26-year-old forward played for the Air Force team from 2003 to 2007, and has been commited with the military institution until now. Burtschi will start a professional career as a basketball player in Germany.

EWE Baskets Oldenburg has landed another player for the next season. The German team announced the signing to a one-year contract, to an option for an extra year, of Nemanja Protic. The 22-year-old Serbian guard arrives from FMP Zeleznik, where he averaged 11.8 points and 2.1 assists per game during the last Adriatic League.

The Düsseldorf Giants have made three new American signings for the next season. The German team has landed Patrick Wischnewski, a 23-year-old guard from the German Pro A team Cuxhaven BasCats; DeAndre Haynes, a 26-year-old guard who played last season for Paderborn, and Rocky Hampton, a 22-year-old forward from the University of Biola.

As expected, Jurica Golemac will play next season for KK Zadar. The Croatian team has confirmed the signing of the 33-year-old forward, who arrives from Alba Berlin. The German team has signed Keith Cothran, a 24-year-old American guard who will start his professional career in Ludwigsburg. The 29-year-old American-German forward arrives from the German ProB league, where he averaged 17.6 points and 8.6 rebounds per game for SC Rasta Vechta last season while the 23-year-old Russian-German forward, recently released by Mitteldeutscher BC, posted 6.8 points and 1.1 rebounds per game in the last BBL.

Aaron Fleetwood won't continue playing for Phoenix Hagen next season. The German club has officially annouced that both parts have agreed to terminate the contract of the 26-year-old American forward, in the team since 2008. Fleetwood, who averaged 5.1 points and 3.1 rebounds per game in the last BBL, will be back to Osnabrück, in the German Pro A league, where he already played during the 2007-08 season.

Dru Joyce will continue his professional career in Germany. TBB Trier has announced the signing of the 25-year-old American guard to a one-year contract. Joyce, former teammate of LeBron James in the high school, finished last season in Anwil Wloclawek, averaging 7.5 points and 3.4 assists per game in the PLK.

Sajmen Hauer is back to the BBL. Telekom Bonn Baskets has announced the signing of the 22-year-old guard to a one-year contract. Hauer, who was a member of Brose Baskets between 2005 and 2008, arrives to his new team from RSV Eintracht Stahnsdorf, where he averaged 13.8 points and 4.2 assists per game in the last German Pro B league.
