Rafa Martínez extends his contract with Power Electronics Valencia until 2014

Rafa Martínez will continue playing for Power Electronics Valencia until 2014. The 28-year-old guard, who arrived to the Spanish team in 2008, was on the radar of several teams like Regal Barcelona, but will finally stay in Valencia. Last season, Martínez averaged 13.5 points and 1.7 assists per game in the ACB league.

Rafa Martínez could play for Regal Barcelona the next two seasons, plus a team option for a third year

According to sources consulted by The Hoops Market, Rafa Martínez, currently in Power Electronics Valencia, could be the first signing of Regal Barcelona for the next season, after reaching an agreement Valencia and Barcelona for the transfer of the player. The 28-year-old guard, who is averaging 13.8 points and 1.8 assists in 28 minutes per game in the ACB league, would sign to a two-year contract with Barça, with an team option for a third year.
