Maroussi BC signs Zisis Sarikopoulos to a three-year contract

As expected, Zisis Sarikopoulos is the new member of Maroussi BC. The Greek club has announced the signing to a three-year contract of the 20-year-old center, who has played during the last two seasons in the University of Ohio State, which initially denied the agreement between Maroussi and the player. Ohio State denies that Zisis Sarikopoulos has signed with Maroussi

Despite the reported agreement between Maroussi BC and Zisis Sarikopoulos, the University of Ohio State, where the 20-year-old center has played during the last two season, has denied that he has signed any contract with the Greek club. Maroussi reaches an agreement with Zisis Sarikopoulos

Zisis Sarikopoulos is back to Greece. The 20-year-old center leaves his country in 2007 to play in the NCAA, where he played for the UAB, and for the University of Ohio State during the last two seasons. Sarikopoulos, who averaged 0.9 points and 1.4 rebounds per game last season, has reached a three-year agreement with Maroussi BC. Philadelphia 76ers sign Evan Turner

Evan Turner is officially a Sixer. The Philadelphia 76ers have announced the signing of the 21-year-old guard, who was selected with the 2nd overall pick in the last NBA draft. Turner arrives to Philadelphia from the University of Ohio State after averaging 20.4 points, 9.2 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game in his junior year.
