Boston Celtics and Ray Allen reach to a two-year, $20 million agreement

Ray Allen won't leave Boston. The 35-year-old guard has reached to an agreement with the Boston Celtics to a two-year, $20 million contract, with a player option for the second year. Allen, who arrived to the Celtics in 2007 from the Seattle SuperSonics, averaged 16.1 points and 3.3 rebounds per game last season.

Washington in talks with Boston to trade Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison in exchange of Ray Allen

Wizards and Celtics are in talks to close a deal that would send Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison to Boston and Ray Allen (along with the expiring contracts of Brian Scalabrine and J.R. Giddens) to Washington. The trade deadline is set to next Thursday, 18th.

Boston Celtics want to trade Ray Allen

Boston Celtics is reported to be interested in trading Ray Allen before the February 19th tradeline. 34-year-old guard is at the last year of his $20 million contract, and it’s unlikely the Celtics will want to re-sign him this summer. Allen would consider a trade to Miami or to New York
