Sarunas Jasikevicius wants to stay in Panathinaikos

According to the agent of Sarunas Jasikevicius, Maurizio Balducci, the 34-year-old Lithuanian guard wants to stay in Panathinaikos next season, slamming the rumors about a possible arrival of Jasikevicius to Maccabi Tel Aviv. Balducci admitted conversations with Maccabi, but expressed the interest of Jasikevicius to stay in Athens. Panathinaikos has a team option to extend the contract of the player until the end of the 2010-2011 season.
