Beni Hasharon doesn't allow Dan Shamir to land in Maccabi Tel Aviv

Despite the reports about the arrival of Dan Shamir to Maccabi Tel Aviv to become the new assistant of David Blatt, Bnei Hasharon doesn't accept the movement. Shamir has a remaining two-year contract with the Israel team without any exit clause, and Bnei Hasharon doesn't allow him to leave, at least for free.

As expected, Dan Shamir has left his job as the head coach of Bnei Hasharon to become the assistant of the new coach of Maccabi Tel Aviv, David Blatt. Oren Aharoni, who was the assistant of Shamir in Bnei Hasharon, will be the new head coach of the team.

Dan Shamir could leave Bnei Hasharon to become assistant of David Blatt in Maccabi Tel Aviv

David Blatt couldn't be the only new coach to land in Maccabi Tel Aviv. Dan Shamir, now in charge of Bnei Hasharon, could leave his current team to become Blatt's assistant. Shamir already worked with Blatt in Dinamo Moscow, before landing in Hapoel Jerusalem in 2007, and then in Bnei Hasharon last season.

Sharon Drucker, Guy Goodes, Oden Katash and Dan Shamir, among the candidates to replace Pini Gershon in Maccabi Tel Aviv

Pini Gershon could leave at the end of the season Maccabi Tel Aviv to accept an offer from an European team. The Israeli powerhouse is considering several candidates to replace him, starting from Gershon's assistant, Sharon Drucker. Another possible head coaches for Maccabi are Guy Goodes (who could leave his job in Hapoel Jerusalem), Oded Katash (now in Galil Gilboa) and Dan Shamir (Bnei Hasharon)
