The Houston Rockets have assigned guard Mike Harris to the affiliate D-League franchise, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Harris was signed weeks ago from the same team. The Vipers have also re-acquired forward Sean Barnette, who was waived days ago due to an injury, while releasing also injured Terrel Harris.

The Rockets also recalled guard Jermaine Taylor from the D-League affiliate, Rio Grande Valley Vipers, after a week assigned there for the third time this season. Harris, who recently signed a 10-day contract with Washington Wizards, already played for the Rockets two games at the start of the season. The guard is one of the top scorers in the D-League, averaging 26.3 points and 9.8 rebounds for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

Washington Wizards have signed another player to a 10-day contract, after Shaun Livingston. Alonzo Gee, who was playing for Austin Toros in the D-League, will be available when the Wizards play Celtics tonight. Rookie forward will take the roster spot vacated by Mike Harris, whose 10-day contract was not renewed.
