Golden State will call-up Anthony Tolliver from the D-League

Golden State Warriors, in serious problems with injuries, are expected to call-up center Anthony Tolliver from the D-League. Tolliver plays for Idaho Stampede (averaging 21.4 points and 11.4 rebounds). This would be the second call-up for the center, who played in Portland after the injuries of Greg Oden and Joel Przbylla, but was waived just a few days after.

Germán Gabriel extends his contract with Estudiantes until the end of the season

In an interview to the Spanish website Piratas del Basket, Spanish forward-center Germán Gabriel confirmed that he has signed the extension of the temporary contract he signed with Estudiantes until the end of the season. Gabriel came to Madrid team after the strange illness of Iker Iturbe, caused by an insect. His last team was Unicaja Málaga.

Martynas Mazeika leaves VEF Riga for AEK Athens, Sandis Valters can be his substitute

Former prospect Martynas Mazeika is back to an important league, after signing with Greek team AEK Athens. The Lithuanian guard comes from VEF Riga, which it's rumoured to replace Mazeika with Sandis Valters. The son of the legendary Valdis Valters, and brother of DKV Joventut player Kristaps, would leave LegaDue team Imola to go back to his home country.

Andre Owens, new player for Lokomotiv Kuban

Another ex-NBA player, after Gerald Green, has signed with Russian team Lokomotiv Kuban. Andre Owens, recently waived by Turk Telekom, has arrived to the team managed by Ketsutis Kemzura. Owens will come as a Bosman player because of his Bulgarian passport.

Stevan Milosevic is the replacement for injured Aleks Maric in Partizan

Partizan has signed the center from Montenegro, Stevan Milosevic, as a temporary replacement for his star Aleks Maric, injured for the next three weeks. Milosevic, former player of Crvena Zvezda and Koln 66ers, was training with the team for the last two months.

Maccabi makes an offer for Dimitris Mavroidis to Maroussi BC

Maccabi Tel-Aviv has made an offer to Maroussi BC for power-forward Dimtirs Mavroidis. The top Israel team is willing to pay 100.000 euros to Maroussi for the 24-years-old player. Maccabi has an open spot in his roster after the leaving of Polish player Maciej Lampe.

Lietuvos Rytas signs Kenan Bajramovic and recalls top prospect Jonas Valanciunas

Lietuvos Rytas has signed Kenan Bajramovic, the Bosnian power-forward who played in the Vilnius team in 2007-08 season. He played later in BC Kyiv, and in Alba Berlin, where he was waived recently. Another player that will rejoin the team is top prospect Jonas Valanciunas. The 17-years-old center was recalled from Lithuanian league team Perlas. These two movements will imply the leaving of Serbian Dejan Borovnjak, one of the biggest disapointments of Rytas this year. Borovnjak will be loaned soon to another European club.

AUSTIN: Announced the re-assignment of Malik Hairston from the San Antonio Spurs.

IDAHO: Signed Coby Karl (recently waived by Cleveland Cavaliers) and Lance Allred (waived at the start of the season by Scavolini Pesaro)

TULSA: Signed Chris Richard (failed to enter in Chicago Bulls roster last pre-season)

MAINE: Re-signed Chris Lowe (waived a couple of weeks before by the same franchise)

LOS ANGELES: Re-signed Horace Wormely (waived in December by the same franchise) and waived former Celtics player Gabe Pruitt

Sundiata Gaines, 10 more days with the Utah Jazz

The point guard Sundiata Gaines (23) will continue playing with the Utah Jazz for a second 10-days contract. Coming from the D-League Idaho Stampede franchise, Gaines has become a hero in Salt Lake City because of his buzzer-beater 3-pointer shot against Cleveland Cavaliers in the last game between Jazz and Cavs in the NBA Regular Season. It's his first year in the NBA, after having played in Pallacanestro Cantú last year.

Edgar San Epifanio leaves Lagun Aro GBC on loan to CB Cornellà

Edgar San Epifano (22), small forward from Lagun Aro GBC, was loaned to CB Cornellà for the rest of the season. San Epifanio, son of the Spanish legend Juan Antonio San Epifanio "Epi", played the last season and a half with the Basque team, coming from his new team Cornellà, where the top prospects of Regal Barcelona play in the Spanish second division, the Adecco LEB Oro.
