Pepinster signs Antoine Agudio

Antoine Agudio is back to Europe. Pepinster has announced the signing of the 25-year-old American guard for the next season. Agudio played in Turkey, for Banvit, during the 2008-09 season, but moved in February 2009 to the Albuquerque Thunderbirds, where he has played since then. In the last D-League, Agudio averaged 15.1 points and 2.8 assists per game.

New Mexico Thunderbirds name Darvin Ham head coach

The former player Darvin Ham was announced as the new head coach of the New Mexico Thunderbirds, the D-League franchise formerly known as the Alburquerque Thunderbirds. The 37-year-old coach has worked during the last two years for the T-Birds as an assistant, and will replace John Coffino.

CAI Zaragoza signs Chad Toppert

CAI Zaragoza has announced that Chad Toppert was signed to a one-year contract, with an option for a second one. The 24-year-old American-German forward arrives to CAI from the Albuquerque Thunderbirds, of the D-League, averaging 11.1 points and 3.6 rebounds per game last season. Toppert could play with the German national team in the next World Championship.

Canadian Solar Bolognia wants a guard: Jamont Gordon, Milos Vujanic and Keith McLeod are on the radar

Canadian Solar Bologna will have to sign a new guard after the injury of Petteri Koponen. The Finnish player is out for the rest of the season, and the Virtus is looking for a replacement. The candidates are Milos Vujanic (playing for the recently relegated Spanish team CB Murcia), Jamont Gordon (now in Cibona) and Keith McLeod (who has just finished the D-League season with the Albuquerque Thunderbirds)

Maine Red Claws send Trey Gilder to Albuquerque Thunderbirds in exchange of Kurt Looby

Another trade in the D-League. Maine Red Claws have sent forward Trey Gilder to Albuquerque Thunderbirds in exchange of Antiqua center Kurt Looby. Gilder was acquired by the Red Claws after being waived by Memphis Grizzlies at the start of the season, while Looby started the season with Rio Grande Valley Vipers before playing with the T-Birds.

Albuquerque Thunderbirds acquire Shagari Alleyne

D-League franchise Albuquerque Thunderbirds added rookie center Shagari Alleyne to roster. Alleyne, who played in college for University of Kentucky, was drafted last summer by the T-Birds in fifth round, but was cut in pre-season. His last team was Halifax Rainmen, in the Premier Basketball League.

Liaoning inks Carlos Powell

One of the best players in the D-League, Carlos Powell, left his team Albuquerque Thunderbirds to play in China for Liaoning Dinousaurs. American forward was averaging 22.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists in D-League this season. Powell is back to Asia after playing last season in South Korea.

Albuquerque Thunderbirds re-acquire Keith McLeod

D-League franchise Albuquerque Thunderbirds have announced the re-acquisition of guard Keith McLeod, waived a month ago due to an injury. McLeod, a NBA veteran, will fill the spot vacated by Kris Collins, who was waived recently also because of an injury.

Albuquerque Thunderbirds add Sasha Cuic

D-League franchise Albuquerque Thunderbirds have announced the addition of Croatian forward Aleksander "Sasha" Cuic to the roster. T-Birds also waived forward Kevin Pittsnogle due to personal reasons. Cuic was without a team after being released a couple of weeks ago by Los Angeles D-Fenders.

Reno Bighorns trade Marcus Hubbard to Alburquerque in exchange for Yaroslav Korolev

D-League Reno Bighorns have adquired former first-rounder 2005 NBA draft pick Yaroslav Korolev in exchange for Marcus Hubbard, coming from Alburquerque Thunderbirds. Russian forward Korolev, who played two seasons for Los Angeles Clippers, is averaging 11.3 points and 5.8 boards. Forward Marcus Hubbard averaged in Bighorns 9.9 points and 6.4 rebounds
