Zadar fires coach Danijel Jusup

Two months after his arrival to KK Zadar, Danijel Jusup was fired by the Croatian team. Seven defeats in eight games were too much for the new coach. Former Zadar player will leave his place to another coach, and the top candidate is Hrvoje Vlasic. Ironically, Jusup was set to replace Vlasic when he was fired by Siroki, but chose to coach Zadar instead.

Maccabi Tel Aviv offers extension to Alan Anderson

Maccabi Tel Aviv wants to keep Alan Anderson next season, and has offered a new contract to the American forward. 27-year-old arrived from KK Zagreb last summer, and has become one of the better players in Europe, being named Euroleague MVP of last month. Anderson, though, could try to earn a spot in a NBA roster next summer.

Springfield Armor acquire Christopher Ayer

After waiving Tony Bobbitt due to a season-ending injury, Springfield Armor have acquired center Christopher Ayer to replace him. Ayer has played for Bakersfield Jam and Utah Flash this season, averaging 2.7 points and 2.3 rebounds. Ayer will need to pass his entrance physical before suiting up for the Armor, but is expected to join the team in L.A. today before the Armor's game against the L.A. Defenders.

Galil Gilboa, to sign Steffon Bradford

Just a few days later after being released by French team Dijon, Steffon Bradford is about to land in another club. Galil Gilboa is in advanced talks with the 32-year-old American forward to replace Marcus Cousin, signed in January, who is disappointing in Israeli team.

Vaqueros de Bayamón sign Robert "Tractor" Traylor

American player Robert "Tractor" Taylor has a new team, after being released from Martos Napoli, and not reaching an agreement to join Olympia Larisa. 33-year-old forward was signed by Puerto Rican team Vaqueros de Bayamón, and will debut next game against Gallitos de Isabela. Vaqueros waived center Fran Steyn to make room for Traylor, who is back to Puerto Rico after playing for Cangrejeros de Santurce in 2007.

Ventspils signs Armands Skele

After passing the medical tests, Ventspils have signed guard Armands Skele. 26-year-old Latvian player started the season with Martos Napoli, but was released after the Italian club bankrupt. Last season, Skele played for Barons Riga. Skele competed in the last Eurobasket with the Latvian NT.

Savo Djikanovic, signed by BC Igokea after leaving Trikala 2000

Savo Djikanovic won't be back to Trikala 2000. Montenegrin center left the Greek team due to the financial problems of the club, thought Trikala tried to convince Djikanovic to come back. Finally, the 35-year-old player was signed by Bosnian team BC Igokea for the rest of the season, after averaging 6.2 points and 4.1 rebounds for Trikala.
