After two years in Argentina Gary Buchanan is back to Ukraine. BC Odessa ha officially announced the signing of the 30-year-old American guard. Buchanan arrives to his new team after averaging 10.3 points and 1.7 rebounds per game for Juventud Sionista, his last team in Argentina.

Despite announcing his retirement weeks ago, Diego Osella will continue one more year playing as a professional in the Argentinian LNB. The veteran 40-year-old center, who has played 1.041 games in his 22 years as a professional, was signed by Juventud Sionista for the next season. Osella was a free agent after being released by Atenas de Córdoba, where he averaged 4.7 points and 3.2 rebounds per game last season.

Despite the interest from Obras Sanitarias, Juan Manuel Locatelli will finally play for Juventud Sionista. The Argentinian team signed the 34-year-old forward to a two-year contract. Locatelli played last season in Atenas de Córdoba averaging 12.1 points and 3.5 rebounds per game in the LNB.

Javier Martínez is back to Regatas Corrientes. The Paraguayan-Argentinian guard leaves Juventud Sionista to sign for Regatas, where he played between 2005 and 2007. Martínez averaged 11.7 points and 3.8 assists last season. Juventud Sionista also released guard Gary Buchanan and center Jimmy Boston.

Juventud Sionista has made the first two signings for the next season. The Argentinian team will add the guard Pedro Franco, a former player of Sionista who has spent the last three seasons in Estudiantes de Bahía Blanca, and the guard Pablo Moldú, who has played the last three seasons for Libertad de Sunchales. Both players were signed by Sionista to a two-year contract

Luis Cequeira will play next season for Obras Sanitarias. The Argentinian 25-year-old guard played recently for Juventud Sionista, arriving to the semifinals of the LNB league and averaging 14.1 points and 4.4 assists per game. Cequeira will play the next South American Club Championship with Obras Sanitarias next July.
