Cairns Taipains sign Gareth Dawson

The Cairns Taipans have announced the arrival of Gareth Dawson for the next season. The 21-year-old New Zealander center was signed by the Australian team to be one of the development players of the roster. Dawson finished last season in New Zealand in the Southland Sharks, averaging 7.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.

Waikato Pistons sign Rashad Tucker to replace Carl Krauser

The Waikato Pistons have decided to release guard Carl Krauser due to an injury, and signed to replace him Rashad Tucker. The 35-year-old American forward arrives to New Zealand from the Sendai 89ers of the Japan, averaging 11.0 points and 7.2 rebounds in 25 games in the JBL with experience in the Australian league, having played for the Perth Wildcats, Cairns Taipans and Melbourne Tigers during his career.

Melbourne Tigers sign Eric Devendorf, Luke Nevill and Lucas Walker

The Melbourne Tigers have announced the signing of three players for the next season: Eric Devendorf, Luke Nevill and Lucas Walker. Devendorf, a former star in Syracuse, will arrive from the Waikato Pistons of the New Zealand NBL. The 23-year-old American guard is avergaing 14.5 points and 3.2 assists per game. Nevill comes from the Utah Flash, in the D-League, where the Australian 24-year-old center has posted 11.9 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. Finally, Walker arrives from the development league SEABL, where the forward is averaging 10.4 points and 6.7 rebounds for the Dandenong Rangers.

Perth Wildcats sign Jeremiah Trueman

The Perth Wildcats have completed his roster with the signing of Jeremiah Trueman. The 22-year-old New Zealander center arrives from the local team Taranaki Mountain Airs, where he averaged 11.6 points and 5.6 rebounds, and also played last season in the Australian NBL with the New Zealand Breakers, posting 2.4 points and 0.8 rebounds per game.

0800 Easy LPG Bay Hawks sign Jon Rogers

Jon Rogers is the replacement for Jamil Terrell in the 0800 Easy LPG Bay Hawks. The 25-year-old American center was playing in the ABA, in the United States, for the Southeast Texas Mavericks. Rogers, who has also played recently in Norway and the Czech Republic, will bring size to the New Zealander team, now placed fifth in the NBL.

0800 Easy LPG Bay Hawks release Jamil Terrell

Jamil Terrell is no longer a player of the 0800 Easy LPG Bay Hawks, after the New Zealander team decided to release him. The American forward arrived this season, and was averaging 10.2 points and 9.9 rebounds for the Hawks. The replacement for the former player of Koper (Slovenia), Eyüp (Turkey) and Nelson Giants (New Zealand), among other teams, will be signed soon.
