Despite the interest of several Israeli teams to sign Sharon Sasson, the 32-year-old forward will continue his career in Bnei Hasharon. Sasson was signed to a two-year contract by his new team after three seasons in Hapoel Jerusalem. In the last Israeli Super League, Sasson averaged 5.1 points and 1.8 rebounds per game.

Maccabi Ashdod will play next season in the Israeli Super League, and is starting to look for new players. The Israeli club is in talks to land the 32-year-old forward Sharon Sasson, who won't continue next season in Hapoel Jerusalem, and the the 34-year-old American-Israeli guard Cory Carr, from Ironi Ashkelon.

Hapoel Jerusalem has completed the acquisition of Moshe Mizrahi. As expected, the 30-year-old guard was signed to a two-year contract by the Israeli team. Mizrahi arrives to Hapoel after playing during the last seasons for Maccabi Haifa, averaging 6.9 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. His arrival to Hapoel will also imply the departure of Sharon Shason, who will leave the team.

Despite having a contract with Hapoel Jerusalem, Sharon Sasson could be released soon by the Israeli team.
