Washington Wizards sign Alonzo Gee for a 10-day contract

As expected, Alonzo Gee was signed for a 10-day contract by Washington Wizards. Gee was called up by the NBA franchise from D-League team Austin Toros, and is averaging 7.6 points and 4.2 assists in 13 minutes per game, in 5 matches with the Wizards.

Eric Daniels leaves Azovmash Mariupol to sign for Galil Gilboa

Eric Daniels is no longer player of Azovmash Mariupol after agreeing both parts to terminate his contract. American forward played 21 games with the Ukrainian team, averaging 17 points and 6.4 rebounds. The reason of his leaving is rumored to be the difficult economical situation of Azovmash. The new team for 27-year-old player will be Galil Gilboa. The Israeli team signed Daniels for the rest of the season.

Khimik signs Larry Abney to replace LaVell Blanchard, inked by Igokea

Ukrainian team have found quickly a replacement to LaVell Blanchard, released recently. Puerto Rican team Cangrejeros de Santurce have announced a new signing. American center Chris Daniels will replace Marquis Gainous, injured on his left hand. Daniels has just finished the season in the South Korean league, averaging 21 points and 9.1 rebounds with Anyang KT&G Kites. Cangrejeros are also waiting for re-acquired Ricky Sánchez to join the team.

Stromile Swift wants to be back to the NBA

The season of Stromile Swift is over, after his team, Shandong, failed to reach play-off in the Chinese league. Despite of his good adaptation to his new country (besides some problems with local food), Swift will try to go back to the NBA. The low salaries in China (his monthly salary in Shandong was just $60k) are the main reason for his likely leaving. Former Rockets and Grizzlies player has averaged 22.1 points and 11.8 rebounds in 31 games, being also the best dunker in the CBA with 2.7 dunks per game.

Cleveland Cavaliers want to sign Sasha Kaun next season
