Flinder Boyd is back to UK and joined Newcastle Eagles

International British guard Flinder Boyd is back to the British Basketball League after joining Newcastle Eagles. Boyd played a key role in the National Team which almost send Spanish NT (which was the final winner) out of the Eurobasket. The 32-years-old guard was without a team since then. His last club was Leicester Riders, in the same BBL.

Utah Jazz to sign Sundiata Gaines for the rest of the season

Finally, it seems that the new Energy Center hero will finish the season in Salt Lake City. Despite his limited role as 3rd guard in Jerry Sloan rotation, Utah Jazz is expected to sign rookie Sundiata Gaines for the rest of the season, after two 10-day contracts. In seven games played by far, Saines has averaged 3.0 points and 1.0 assists.

Cleveland Cavaliers to sign Cedric Jackson for a 10-day contract

After the injuries of Mo Williams and Delonte West, Cavs have decided to add another point guard to the rotation of Cleveland, which only has Daniel Gibson as a healthy one. Alba Berlin signs Iowa State player Lucca Staiger

Alba Berlin has signed guard Lucca Steiger until 2012. Steiger recently left Iowa State college where he was playing last two years, because the young German prospect decided to go back to his home country. That signing mean that guard Oskar Fassler will go to Pro A team Jena.

Current D-League MVP, Courtney Sims, has returned to Iowa Energy

Courtney Sims has signed with Iowa Energy, his former franchise in the D-League. 26-years-old center played this season for a month in Russian team CSKA Moscow before being replaced by Pops Mensah-Bonsu, and now he's back to the D-League, where last year he was the Regular Season MVP and the shared All-Star MVP with Blake Ahearn. Sims will replace Taylor Griffin, who was recalled by Phoenix Suns

Atlanta Hawks sign Mario West to second 10-days contract

Mario West will continue playing for Atlanta Hawks for 10 more days. The NBA franchise have signed for a second 10-days contract former Georgia Tech player. 25-years-old guard played two seasons for the Hawks until last season, when he became a free agent. Alex Righetti extends contract with Virtus Bolonia until the end of the season
