New York Knicks waive Brian Cardinal

As expected, New York Knicks have announced via Twitter that his new acquisition Brian Cardinal, coming from Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange of Darko Milicic, was waived by the franchise. 32-year-old forward has played in the NBA for 9 years, and 1 in Spain.

Utah Flash sign Kevin Kruger

D-League franchise Utah Flash have signed guard Kevin Kruger. 26-year-old player played in the last to season for the Flash, and also had a couple of brief stints in Europe, playing two games for Bulgarian team Lukoil Akademik last season, and five games for Italian team Martos Napoli this one.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas wants to be back to Cleveland

Lithuanian center Zydrunas Ilgauskas, just traded to Washington Wizards, wants to buy-out his contract and be back to his old team Cleveland. 33-year-old player have an expiring contract that pays him $11.5 milion. If he agrees a termination with Wizards, he will be able to go back to Cavs 30 days after.

Techasas signs Marius Kasiulevicius

Techasas signed Lithuanian guard Marius Kasiulevicius, who started the season in Polish team Stal Stalowa Wola, before being released in January. 28-year-old player averaged 2.3 points and 1.8 rebounds in 13 games played in the PLK. Kasiulevicius played the last four seasons for Neptunas.

Andrei Podkovyrov, resigned as Azovmash head coach

Azovmash Mariupol will have to find a new head coach after the resignation of Andrei Podkovyrov. Ukrainian coach signed for Azovmash last November to replace Rimas Girskis in his second stage in Mariupol after winning Ukrainian Super League in 2003 and 2004. Spurs trade Theo Ratliff to the Bobcats

San Antonio Spurs and Charlotte Bobcats have agreed to a trade to send center Theo Ratliff to Charlotte in exchange of a future draft pick. Veteran 35-year-old player was averaging 1.6 points and 1.9 rebound with the Spurs. His leaving, combined with Marcus Haislip buy-out, saves $1.7 million in luxury tax payments to Spurs.
