Maccabi Tel Aviv signs Richard Hendrix to a two-year contract

It's official. Maccabi Tel Aviv has signed Richard Hendrix to a two-year contract, as the Israeli team has announced in the website of the club. The 23-year-old American center arrives to Maccabi after averaging 13.9 points and 6.9 rebounds per game in the last ACB league for CB Granada.

Maccabi Tel Aviv, also interested in Nik Caner-Medley

Maccabi Tel Aviv is looking for an import center, and the two main candidates played last season in Spain. Besides the already known interest for Richard Hendrix, from CB Granada, the other name in the short list is Nik Caner-Medley. The 26-year-old American guard played last season in Estudiantes, averaging 12.0 points and 6.5 rebounds last season in the ACB league.

Unicaja wants Richard Hendrix for next season

One of the best newcomers of the ACB league, Richard Hendrix, is on the radar of Unicaja. The 23-year-old American player, now in CB Granada, is averaging 13.8 points and 7 rebounds, becoming one of the best centers in the ACB. Unicaja could be interested in signing Hendrix the next season. Another player who could have an offer from the Spanish team is Marcus Haislip, recently released by Panathinaikos, who already played last season for Unicaja. His relationship with the coach Aíto García Reneses, though, is not the best.
