Phoenix Hagen lands Jacob Burtschi for a try-out

The new player of Phoenix Hagen arrives from the American Air Force. The German team has signed Jacob Burtschi to a four-week try-out, to evaluate his signing for the next season. The 26-year-old forward played for the Air Force team from 2003 to 2007, and has been commited with the military institution until now. Burtschi will start a professional career as a basketball player in Germany.

Phoenix Hagen and Aaron Fleetwood part ways

Aaron Fleetwood won't continue playing for Phoenix Hagen next season. The German club has officially annouced that both parts have agreed to terminate the contract of the 26-year-old American forward, in the team since 2008. Fleetwood, who averaged 5.1 points and 3.1 rebounds per game in the last BBL, will be back to Osnabrück, in the German Pro A league, where he already played during the 2007-08 season.

Phoenix Hagen signs Edward Seward

After six seasons in Germany, Edward Seward will make his debut in the BBL. Phoenix Hagen has announced the signing of the 31-year-old American center, who helped BBC Bayreuth to promote from the German Pro A league last season, averaging 8.2 points and 7.4 rebounds per game.

Phoenix Hagen signs Mark Dorris

After a successful season in the Pro A league, Mark Dorris will play next season in the top German league. Phoenix Hagen has announced the signing of the 25-year-old American guard. Dorris arrives to his new team after averaging 18.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per game for Cuxhaven BasCats.

Phoenix Hagen signs Ryan Appleby

Phoenix Hagen has announced the first signing for the next season. The German team has landed Ryan Appleby, a 26-year-old American guard. Appleby, a former member of the University of Washington, played recently in thet minor American league NABL for the Seattle Aviators.

As expected, Michael Jordan will play for Mitteldeutscher BC next season. The 33-year-old American guard was signed to a one-year contract by the German team. Jordan arrives to his new team after playing last season for Phoenix Hagen, averaging 8.9 points and 2.3 rebounds per game in the BBL.

Mitteldeutscher BC, close to sign Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan will continue his career in Germany. The 32-year-old American guard (not related with the Hall-of-Famer player) has reached to an agreement with Mitteldeutscher BC for the next season. Jordan played last season for Phoenix Hagen, averaging 8.9 points and 2.3 rebounds per game in the BBL.

John Turek leaves Phoenix Hagen to play in the Netherlands

John Turek won't continue playing for Phoenix Hagen next season. The 25-year-old American center will return to Gas Terra Flames Groningen, the champion of the last Dutch league. Turek, who played for Groningen in the 2005-06 season, averaged 12.4 points and 6.6 rebounds per game for Phoenix Hagen in the last BBL.

Rolandas Alijevas leaves Nevezis to play for Phoenix Hagen

Lithuanian guard Rolandas Alijevas left Nevezis after a few weeks with the team since being signed. German squad Phoenix Hagen will be his new destiny. Alijevas played 5 games in Baltic League with Nevezis, averaging 13.2 points and 4.6 assists. 25-year-old player started this season in Olympia Larissa.

Last movements in Germany: Marcus Hall and Zygimantas Jonusas

Phoenix Hagen signed Lithuanian forward Zygimantas Jonusas. 27-year-old is back to the German league after playing in Bremerhaven from 2006-09. He started the season with Ukrainian team BC Mykolaiv.

Ludwigsburg have also signed another player, American guard Marcus Hall. The new German team addition comes from Fastweb Casale, in Italian LegaDue. This will be the first experience in Germany of the former 2008 Bulgarian League MVP
