Regal Barcelona, close to extend Gianluca Basile's contract to one more year

Despite the rumors about his leaving, finally Gianluca Basile will stay in Regal Barcelona, at least, for one more season. The Spanish club and the veteran 35-year-old Italian guard are close to sign a one-year extension. Basile, who arrived to Regal Barcelona in 2005, averaged 5.3 points and 1.0 rebounds per game in the last ACB league.
