Portland Trail Blazers sign Wes Matthews to a 5-year, $34 million offer sheet

Wesley "Wes" Matthews, undrafted last season, has seen dramatically increased his value. The Portland Trail Blazers has signed Matthews to a 5-year, $34 million offer sheet. His team last season, the Utah Jazz, has seven days to match the offer. The 23-year-old guard averaged 9.4 points and 2.3 rebounds per game in his first year as a professional.
