Ben Wallace, close to sign a two-year, $3.8 million contract with the Detroit Pistons

Ben Wallace will continue in the NBA for at least two more seasons. The 35-year-old center has reached to a two-year, $1.9 million per year agreement with the Detroit Pistons. Wallace returned to Detroit last season after four years in the Chicago Bulls and the Cleveland Cavaliers, averaging 5.5 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. Wallace, a four-time Defensive Player of the Year, helped the Pistons to win the 2004 title.
