Sergio Rodríguez leaves the NBA to sign for Real Madrid

According to a Spanish newspaper, Sergio Rodríguez is the first signing of Real Madrid for the next season. The 23-year-old guard could have been signed to a 3-year contract, earning €1.5 million per season ($1.8 million). Rodríguez, who was at the end of his expiring contract with the New York Knicks, would be back to Spain after four years in the NBA.
