Rashed Wallace officially retires

Rasheed Wallace has officially decided to retire after 15 seasons as a professional. The 35-year-old forward was signed to a three-year, $18.9 million contract last summer by the Boston Celtics, but will left more than $12 million on the table by opting to retire. Wallace, who won a championship with the Pistons in 2004 and four-times Al-Star, averaged 14.0 points and 6.7 rebounds during his career.
