Algirdas Brazys, new head coach of Ventspils

Ventspils has a new coach, after firing Silvano Poropat a month ago. His replacement will be the Lithuanian coach Algirdas Brazys, who was working as the sporting director of Zalgiris Kaunas before leaving the club along with Ramunas Butautas last February. The last team Brazys coached a team was in the 2008-09 season, when he was in charge of Enisey Krasnoyarsk.
